Muhammad Junaid is a Senior Manager in the Asset Management Tax practice group in the New York City office of True Partners Consulting, LLC. He is deeply experienced in federal and state tax compliance with a particular focus in hedge funds, private equity funds, and law firms. He has over 12 years of experience in assisting clients, both public and private, in connection with tax planning matters including fund structuring, tax treatment of financial instruments, uncertain tax positions and tax planning of other complex business transactions.
Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Muhammad worked for Deloitte Tax LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. In addition to serving clients with US tax matters, Muhammad has extensive experience in international tax compliance. He has worked on Skadden’s international tax matters around the globe with a particular focus in the UK, France, Singapore, South Korea and Brazil. Muhammad has worked with tax authorities in Europe and Asia during his time at Skadden working on complex multi-jurisdictional tax issues.
Muhammad attended Baruch College (CUNY) where he received his BBA in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York.
