Jennifer Prendamano is a Director in True Partner Consulting’s Long Island office. Jennifer has over 19 years of experience in the state and local tax area primarily focusing on sales and use tax matters with state and local income tax experience as well.
Over the years, Jennifer has assisted clients in various industries with sales and use tax matters including tax controversy matters and audit defense as well as several successful settlements and Appeals, voluntary disclosure agreements, nexus studies, preparing sales tax matrices, reverse sales and use tax audits and refund claims, sales and use tax process improvements and best practices, and sales tax compliance.
For over 9 years, Jennifer worked for a Fortune 500 company as their Worldwide Tax Audit/Tax Controversy Manager and represented the company in their Federal and state and local income tax and sales and use tax examinations, settlements, and Appeals. In her role, Jennifer was also responsible for sales and use tax process improvements that significantly reduced the company’s sales and use tax liabilities over the years on audit. Prior to that, Jennifer performed state and local income tax planning services for large multinational corporations in the financial services industry at EY and PwC which included apportionment planning, nexus studies, due diligence and restructuring to minimize state and local income tax liabilities.
Jennifer received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Hofstra University and her Juris Doctor from Hofstra School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in New York State and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2000. Jennifer is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Tax Section) as well as the American Bar Association (Tax Section).
