There is a light at the end of your (tax provision) tunnel.  Let’s find it together.
How was your year-end?
Tis the income tax provision season and we’ve heard from a number of companies that this year-end has been particularly rough.  Another year of re-running the income tax provision in Excel, hoping that all the formulas update, ticking and tying work papers over and over again.Another year of completing the provision just to find that there are more accounting adjustments leading to yet another provision update.  Another year of putting all the pieces together in Excel to complete the footnote.
Take action and Transform Your World
You have options—hire more people, enhance your Excel files, work more hours, or consider implementing provision automation software to improve your process.  We have helped our clients address all of these options, but the option that has provided the greatest return has been the transition to provision automation software.

Each client has unique circumstances that they would like to address.  As such, implementing provision automation software is not a “one size fits all” process.  One of the first questions we ask each client is, “What tax process improvements do you hope to obtain from your provision automation software?”
From their responses, our clients have expanded their provision team to appropriately use other tax department personnel, streamlined the way in which provision results were consolidated, automated many aspects of the provision process, unified the provision formats across global platforms, expedited the closing process, and streamlined the provision to tax return process.

Whatever your needs are, we are here to listen and offer our expertise to help make a transitional transformation.

Are you the company that implemented provision automation software a few years ago, but don’t have what you need?

Provision automation software has made significant advances, and we are finding that many companies did not “upgrade” their software.  A few years ago, provision automation implementations were simply about getting the provision done.  Now, implementations are more about transforming the way tax departments operate, unifying groups with different responsibilities, taking a deeper look at the tax department’s needs, presenting information, tax planning, and streamlining work wherever possible.

If you feel the software you are using is simply helping you get through the provision, it’s time to take a fresh look at how you are using the software.
I’m interested, now what?

Our Provision Automation professionals offer implementation and enhancement services for your chosen software solution.  If you would like to discuss how we can contribute to your future success, please reach out to us.  We would like to hear about your needs.
