Shrinking Cities Seminar

What does economic development look like in Chicago neighborhoods today? Has Chicago become what’s known as a “shrinking city?”

This seminar will introduce the “shrinking city” concept and offer a panel of elected officials, tax policy and real estate equities experts, and economic and real estate developers who can help determine if Chicago fits the bill. Speakers will explain Chicago’s current economic characteristics and explore how declining population and economic stagnation combine to affect public policy and local economies.

Gain insight to strategically maximize your profit and best position your clients. In addition, increase your understanding of why some neighborhoods are more competitive than others in the region, and what real estate options may help you stabilize your market.
