Paul Cheung is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office.  Mr. Cheung is a specialist in employment tax and has over 17 years of consulting and corporate experience.  He has advised clients regarding federal and state employment tax issues, specifically in connection with mergers, acquisitions and restructuring.  He has also assisted large as well as middle-market clients in identifying employment tax refund and planning opportunities through comprehensive employment tax reviews.  Mr. Cheung also has extensive experience in dealing with federal, state and local employment tax compliance issues related to multi-state nonresident withholding, worker classification, executive compensation, employee fringe benefits and expatriate employees.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. Cheung was a Director in the Employment Tax Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago for eight years.  Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked at Arthur Andersen in Chicago for three years as a Manager in the Employment Tax Group.  Before joining public accounting, he also worked at Rand McNally for two years as the Payroll Manager and Sprint for five years as the Payroll Supervisor.

Mr. Cheung has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the American Payroll Association.
