John E. Boseman is a Managing Director in True Partners Consulting’s San Jose office.  With more than 20 years of Silicon Valley based tax experience, Mr. Boseman has worked in both the private and public accounting sectors servicing all sizes of clients from small start-ups to large multi-national corporations.  His  focus has been US Federal taxation, with deep experience in transfer pricing, general corporate issues inclusive of FAS 109, and for the last 10 years, while at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in the areas of corporate tax credits (Research tax credits) and the analysis of merger-related transaction costs (TCA). 

Mr. Boseman’s experience in the Research credit area includes all aspects of the research credit from providing initial scoping of opportunities for his clients high-tech and non-high-tech businesses, to the performance of Research credit studies and documentation, to the financial statement implications of the Research credit including extensive FIN 48 work, to defending the Research credit before the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities. 

Mr. Boseman received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (accounting concentration), from San Jose State University in 1986.
