Jennifer Lau is a Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office.  She has over five years of consulting experience.  Her most recent focus has been in tax risk and process and control implementation within the tax function.  She has experience in federal and state taxation and has worked on both compliance and consulting projects for large corporations and limited partnerships.  Her state tax consulting experience includes work in restructuring, tax opportunity reviews, and nexus studies.  In addition, Ms. Lau has worked on consulting projects which include forensic accounting in a financial investigation, and analysis and remediation activities in the proper application of GAAP within an accounting restatement.

Before joining True Partners, Ms. Lau was an associate at Huron Consulting in the Financial Consulting Practice.  There she specialized in investigations and complex accounting issues for Fortune 500 companies.  Prior to that, she was a senior associate in the Multistate Tax Practice at Deloitte Tax LLP. 

Ms. Lau received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
