Tom Truax is a Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office. He is a tax professional with more than seven years of public accounting experience.
Mr. Truax specializes in pass-through entity taxation, with experience in the real estate industry, including real estate investment trusts, opportunity funds, family-owned and operated business enterprises, and tax-exempt investors. Before joining True Partners Consulting, he was a tax manager with KPMG, where he spent three years in the Federal tax group. Prior to KPMG, he was a Supervisory Senior Auditor with Selden Fox, Ltd.
Mr. Truax received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Taxation from DePaul University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. |
