Federal tax specialist strengthens firm’s expertise

LOS ANGELES – November 8, 2007 – True Partners Consulting LLC today announced that Charlene Greene has joined its Los Angeles office as managing director.

A federal tax specialist with more than 25 years of experience in tax consulting and compliance, Greene will lead the firm’s financial institution practice specializing in banking, including mortgage banking and automobile finance and leasing. 

“I look forward to offering my financial consulting expertise to companies in the L.A. area,” said Greene. “It’s a pleasure to become part of the strong leadership team that is helping to lead the firm’s growth on the West Coast.”

Greene also has extensive experience with the acquisition and servicing of deeply discounted debt instruments, including U.S. investments in foreign debt.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Greene served as a Managing Director at RSM McGladrey, Inc., where she led its Southern California financial institution tax practice.  She also has experience as a Principal in the corporate tax and business advisory division of Arthur Andersen’s Los Angeles office, where she spent 20 years serving mid- to large-size corporate clients and was a member of the firm-wide Financial Institution Tax Team.

Greene received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a frequent speaker at banking conferences, including the Annual Bank Tax Institute. As a Certified Public Accountant, she is a member of the American Institute and the California and Texas Societies.
