Michelle Moloian is a Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Los Angeles office. She has comprehensive experience in providing a variety of services to predominantly Fortune 500 Companies, including unclaimed property compliance reporting, comprehensive reviews and implementation of unclaimed property reporting systems, as well as training client personnel. Prior to entering public accounting, Michelle worked for more than 12 years as company Controller and Chief Financial Officer for a service corporation that provided consulting, interior design and product delivery for middle market builders and architectural firms. Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, she worked on the National Unclaimed Property Team at both Arthur Andersen and KPMG LLP.
Ms. Moloian has over 18 years diverse experience in private industry and public accounting serving clients in many industries, including financial, retail, information technology, healthcare, manufacturing, food service, and transportation. She currently oversees the unclaimed property and sales tax compliance practice for True Partners Consulting. In this role, she is responsible for the accurate and timely filing of thousands of unclaimed property and sales tax reports for an impressive list of Fortune 500 and middle market companies in various industries. In addition to annual compliance services, she provides ongoing consulting services to her clients such as diagnostic reviews, analysis of best practices, unclaimed property reporting process improvements, and training of client personnel.
Ms. Moloian served as a contributing organizer and author of a one-day unclaimed property seminar geared toward the education of individuals in private industry. The seminar covers such topics as History of Unclaimed Property, Compliance Best Practices, Audit Defense, and Voluntary Disclosures and has been presented in over 10 cities across the United States with participants from a wide variety of industries, including: transportation, financial, insurance, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.
Ms. Moloian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration—Accounting, California State University, Los Angeles. She is a member of the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization (f/k/a UPHLC). |
