Louis P. Gomes is a Managing Director with True Partners Consulting located in San Jose, California. He has over 20 years of experience working in public accounting and industry providing tax services, including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, FAS 109 tax accounting, FAS 123R, audit assistance, and a wide variety of federal, international, and multi-state strategic tax consulting and compliance.

Prior to joining True Partners, Mr. Gomes managed the Northern California tax practice for Jefferson Wells. He also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and as a Tax Director for a NYSE company. His clients include software, biotechnology, semiconductor, and various other multinational high tech companies, as well as non-high tech companies, including retail, consumer products manufacturing, and distribution.

Mr. Gomes is a frequent instructor and has taught various practical tax seminars on FAS 109, Section 382, stock option planning, FAS 123R, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 tax cycle.

Mr. Gomes received his Masters of Science in Taxation and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (accounting concentration), from San Jose State University and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, respectively. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
