Kevin J. Herzberg is the South East Managing Director for True Partners Consulting and currently leads its southeast practice, based in Tampa, Florida. He has 18 years of broad-based state tax experience, including tax planning, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 review, FAS 109 tax accounting, mergers and acquisitions, tax controversy and tax compliance.

Mr. Herzberg has deep experience working with Fortune 500 and mid-market companies in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, transportation, hospitality, manufacturing and health care industries.

Prior to joining True Partners, Mr. Herzberg was Deloitte's multi-state tax leader for Florida . Before Deloitte & Touche LLP, he served as a tax partner for Arthur Andersen and led its Central Florida state and local tax practice as well as its Florida sales tax practice.

Mr. Herzberg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and his Masters of Business Administration degree with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

He serves on a number of tax committees, including the Florida Institute of CPAs State Tax Conference, and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a frequent speaker on state tax issues at various industry and professional groups and has written articles in several journals on pressing state tax topics facing clients today.
