John Easterday is a Managing Director in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office. He has advised clients regarding multi-state tax issues, specifically in connection with mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and controversies for the past 10 years.
Mr. Easterday has advised companies representing a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, and utilities. He has extensive experience managing large restructuring projects and has served numerous middle market and Fortune 500 corporations. His primary area of concentration is corporate state income and franchise taxes, but also has experience with sales/use taxes, property taxes, and payroll/unemployment taxes.
Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. Easterday was a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ State and Local Tax practice in Chicago and Indianapolis and before that he was with Arthur Andersen’s Chicago office SALT practice.
Mr. Easterday received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois and Indiana CPA Societies.
