Joanne Chun Hughes is a Managing Director in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office primarily specializing in federal tax planning, with an emphasis on Section 199 and accounting methods. She has over nine years of tax and legal experience.
Before joining True Partners Consulting, Ms. Hughes was a practicing attorney where she assisted multinational corporations with tax protests, contractual and litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Prior to that, she was with the Chicago and National offices of Deloitte & Touche LLP and the Chicago office of Arthur Andersen, where she assisted large corporations in implementing various federal tax strategies.
Ms. Hughes received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and her Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in Illinois and Michigan. |
