David Kini is a Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office.  He has over 15 years of tax and accounting experience in the government, public, and corporate sectors.

Mr. Kini’s focus is in the state and local tax area, primarily sales and use taxes.  He has broad experience in a variety of industries and has successfully represented clients with their compliance, audit defense, and transactional tax research needs.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. Kini was employed at W.W. Grainger, Inc., a leading broad-line supplier of facilities maintenance products where, in addition to sales and use taxes, he supervised the personal property tax and business license functions.  He also was employed for several years in Arthur Andersen’s Chicago office state and local tax practice.

Mr. Kini received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters of Accountancy degree from DePaul University in Chicago.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.
