David Jarmusz is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office. He has more than 15 years of experience in providing federal and international taxation services to public and private multinational clients, including tax planning, tax compliance, and transfer pricing for more than 15 years.
Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. Jarmusz was the Regional Director—International Tax Lead at Hudson Financial Solutions. While there, he managed the international tax engagements in North America and federal tax engagements in the Midwest in such areas as FAS 109—Accounting for Income Taxes, FIN 48—Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, merger and acquisition transactional activity, and presenting tax technical training seminars to client personnel.
Before Hudson, he spent 10 years at Big Five accounting firms in the U.S. and UK. While there, he provided domestic and international tax planning for multinational companies, assisting them with compliance risk management and improving tax efficiencies.
Mr. Jarmusz has extensive experience in risk analysis and documentation surrounding the international implications of FAS 109, domestic and international transactional tax cost analysis, international tax compliance, earnings and profits analysis, merger and acquisition tax due diligence, Subpart F and OFL planning, tax planning for transferred or seconded employees, global tax minimization, and intellectual property structuring.
Mr. Jarmusz received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Canisius College, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit, and a Masters of Law in Taxation degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a licensed attorney in Illinois, New York, and the District of Columbia, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is member of the Illinois CPA Society, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Tax Executives Institute, and the Chicago Tax Club.
