Bruce H. Davis is a Managing Director at True Partners Consulting. He has 23 years of experience in state and local taxation, focusing on issues relative to sales and use taxation, including transactional analysis, controversies, refund reviews, mergers and acquisitions, municipal incentives, compliance, process reviews, and captive procurement entities. He has assisted large corporations as well as middle-market businesses in such diverse industries as manufacturing, retail, wholesale, utilities, transportation, professional services, not-for-profit, healthcare and high tech.

Prior to True Partners, Mr. Davis was a tax partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP and earlier at Arthur Andersen. Before Andersen, Davis was a revenue auditor at the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Mr. Davis received his undergraduate education (B.A.) at Colgate University and post-graduate training (M.A.) at the University of Chicago. He also holds an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Davis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and has sat on the State and Local Taxation Committee of the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society (ICPAS). He has published articles in various professional publications and has presented before professional trade associations on topics in state and local taxation.
